A question, if I am doubling the amount of meat do I double the amount of spice etc. Thanks

Hi you don’t want to over spice so I would go up by half for the spices @stripybag and like @boo says mindful of the chillies. You can add more heat later if you want it hotter. Hope that helps.

I usually double the spices and the vegetables when I double the meat for a big portion. But attention to the chillis! @stripybag

No, double the meat and add half the spices again. So x2meat, x1.5spices. @stripybag 💕

So making a 4-person recipe for just myself, I’d use spices at about 1/3, not 1/4.

I usually do, because more meat usually means more gravy too. I up all amounts proportionally. When scaling down I tend to level off on the spices.
