White bean curry (a wonderful variety of beans to be found only in Brittany: Coco de Paimpol), Rougail pom d’amour (a thick tomato sauce from Mauritius). With home-made parathas. All this makes a wonderful Indo-Mauritian combination. It was lovely!

We are very often in Britanny as we have a part of our family here. Actually we live in Germany!
Our niece lives with her family on Réunion and she told us about Rougail Saucisse!

@boo I live in the South of France but used to have a friend from the Reunion who taught me to cook Rougail Saucisses. But I grew up in England. Do you live in Brittany? Paimpol are one of my fave beans, as well as Coco de Prague and Tarbais 😋

The season for “Coco de Paimpol” starts mid August and closes by the end of November latest. They have a delicate flavour, silvery creamy-white colour and they don’t split when you cook them.
