Aren’t whole spices beautiful not just to taste and because of their amazing health benefits but to look at too. So easy to get arty-farty while the Karahi heats up!

Sounds awesome @Mark Harvey I’ll have a look in the book for that and try work out which ‘Hari’ bits you’ve added!?

Well it was from my Rick Stein “India” book which is awesome full of some very authentic recipes. A book I can highly recommend to buy and put on your bookshelf ..alongside Hari’s of course!

It’s ok to share ideas and dishes you have cooked that aren’t mine. I’m always happy to learn too!

I know what you mean ☺ - I've just posted my first non-Hari recipe (Gujarati Daal) and felt 'bad', but in the end it wasn't as good as Hari's dhals anyway! But I'm glad I tried it, that's how you learn isn't it ? Hope it was gooood! 😁💕

And I should also be honest that it was actually @Sue A Parrish that took the pic...I just titivated it a little. Xx

It was the other day @Jo Dunn if I’m honest and it was a slow cooked lamb shank curry “Cochin first class railway mutton Curry”. Delicious but I didn’t post as it wasn’t a Hari recipe. I’m sure Hari wouldn’t mind but it feels a little disrespectful to me. 😊🌶
