There you are: pumpkin curry with garlic naan and yogurt. The naan isn’t very fluffy, probably because I used wholemeal flour instead of regular. I should have used a bit more moisture. The place where I let it rise wasn’t as warm as I anticipated either. So, tips for tomorrow: use regular flour and do find a warm spot!

@boo recipe looks great I find that using warm milk gives a softer dough @Arthur vdH but atta is better then wholemeal and it dies need more working as boo said. Let us know how you get on.

For a good yeast dough I needed some practice @Arthur vdH. The first tries were not so brilliant!! Best results with a pastry blender (Kitchenaid e.g.). The dough can absorb more water and will be very soft. When kneading the dough with your hands, it’s ok, but in the beginning it sticks. Try to make a dough that sticks a little bit before you leave it. Dust it lightly before covering.

Whole meal flour is ok! @Arthur vdH Healthier than “regular” flower! Try Indian atta if you can buy it where you live.
If you like, try this dough: 300 gr flour, 150-160 ml lukewarm water (i.e. 150-160 gr water), 1/2 tsp salt, 1 tsp sugar, 1/2 tsp dried yeast. The dough must be needed 10 minutes!! Then you leave it covered in a bowl. Either in the fridge for 6-8 hours!! That works well! Or at a warm place for 1 hour. Good luck and much fun!!
