Hi @ Boo and @ Sue Gwen, you are correct as the plant dies back the branches aren’t strong enough, also the root is a convenient hanging point.
Hope I am right 🤣😂🌶👍

Yes, a good question @Sue Geen !! We talked about that yesterday!! And we think the branches are not strong enough to hold the chilies. That could be the reason why @stripybag put the plant upside-down. Let us wait for stripybags answer!!

Sorry @stripybag! I should have said British. But it’s better to be exact! You’re Welsh! Some years back, I spent a week in Cardiff with a French teacher colleague. It was fun! We spent every evening in pubs. In most of the pubs, there was a group or just one person playing music and singing. In Germany unimaginable!!
