Good morning everyone!
I finally got Hari's book and I would like to prepare Chicken Korma today. I have never tried it in the slow cooker before. Any suggestions? Ideas? Tipps? Thanks in avance :)

PS Which is your favourite chicken recipe from The Easy Indian Slow Cooker Cookbook?

That looks so amazing @kyara 😉 thick and delicious. So pleased that it’s a success with your little girl!! Yes @Arthur vdH very true not everyone like coriander. Plus kids can be funny about green leaves in their food so see what she thinks! Enjoy 😊

A four-year-old having seconds … now that’s a success, @Kyara ! Be cautious with the coriander though. To some people coriander tastes like soap because they can taste certain compounds in it that others can’t. Best to see if your daughter likes the taste of it before adding it.

Correction @Kyara: I mean”... we do not have as many Indian shops as in the UK”.

We have got Turkish shops @Kyara. This is where we get our coriander leaves. There are also some Indian shops, but as many as in the UK. But as you mentioned, all shops are closed in Germany on Sundays.

Yes @latif, Turkish shops can be a big help regarding fresh coriander, but not on Sundays... Do you have Turkish shops in Hamburg?

I often orget to add the koriander even if I do have it @Kyara. The recipes are delicious enough without it!

We have the same problem in Hamburg @Kyara! Not very easy to find fresh coriander leaves. They are luckier in the UK.

Hi @Kyara don’t worry too much about the coriander for now. See how you get on you can always cook it again.

Thank you @victoria.darragh @Hari Ghotra @boo and @stripybag 😊 Unfortunately I don't have fresh coriander at home and here in Frankfurt ALL the shops are closed on Sundays. I know it makes a big difference and I love coriander, but I cannot wait and I'll try this recipe anyway 👍🏻 I'll post a photo later, if it turns out nice 😉

Hi @Kyara , the book is great, easy to follow. Just as boo says have the ingredients ready and at hand.
I use the book often, it’s great 👍. Good luck with your korma 🍴

Hopefully all the details you need are in the recipe. The butter chicken is tasty 😋 @Kyara - let us know how you get on! With pictures!

@Hari Ghotra book is amazing! Haven’t tried the Korma yet but the Chettinad and Thari Wala are some of our favourites. I’m making Dhal Makhani today.
