I like to stay completely open minded and cook anything with spice mostly Indian, Chinese, Thai, Italian, and traditional English food with a twist. I look at @Hari Ghotra first for ideas for Indian food but I also use Rick Stein India book, the Spicemen, Madhur Jaffrey, Hairy bikers, Keith Floyd, the Curry secret books, An Indian Wife’s recipe book. And online if looked at The Curry guy and Maunika Gowardhan. I also try to take the best of what I like from a few versions of a recipe and make it my own or add a twist from someone else’s recipe to someone else’s. We had Thai mussels as a starter last night and a spicy Chimachurri salad with Salmon for main and a glass or two of Rum later....so from Thailand to Argentina to Barbados in one evening lol. No wonder I’m tired !!

Hari’s is my most used book on the shelf and I seem to collect cookbooks. Hari’s videos and easy to follow recipes has taken my fear of spices away so I am really enjoying learning and eating a lot of Indian food! I do cook some Nigella Lawson recipes mostly desserts and her easy chilli recipe.

I was given some Asian cookery books for Christmas last year, I also inherited some from my late Mother, so I do vary my sources but Hari’s Slow Cooker is my fav. 👍

Hari Ghotra is my go to for recipes. I do however consult the source of my curry journey. Indian cooking by Madhur Jaffery🙏

I do cook a lot of @Hari Ghotra’s recipes nowadays. But I’m also partial to Italian food (Anne Casale’s recipes for instance). And sometime I just cobble something together of my own making.

Ha ha ha! Good question. I do look other stuff up online, watch other people's cooking videos, because I am so genuinely interested in Indian food; and I have cooked other people's recipes, but I mostly end up cooking with Hari's recipes, because they really are superior quality and also I know I can trust them @Sue Geen. We've all come such a long way with Hari. I'm a much better cook now than I was before pre-Hari era 👩‍🍳💕
