Hi, I made the samosas over the weekend... Tasted nice, but looked a disaster! My pastry was all floppy, bit like a Harry Potter sorting hat 😂. Can u tell me why my pastry wasn't firm like yours.... I'll rewatch your video to see if u can spot where I went wrong x

If it was still floppy it may have needed a little longer. The pasty needs to get to the point where it’s firmed up and easy to manipulate but not cooked too long so that it cooks too much. Does that help? @Alana Boakes

I did, but I did for 4 seconds as recipe said. Do u think I should have done it longer? It really was floppy, we did laugh loads whilst making them 😂. I loved the pastry flavour, shall fill with all sorts! Once I get the pastry right...

Hi @Alana Boakes did you cook the rolled out pastry to sear and help it hold its shape before making the samosa?
