I made the Malabar shrimp the other day and it was spectacular! It's one of my wife favorites, and no recipe has done it justice until I found yours.
Just one question though, the recipe calls for chili's. What kind? There are millions of types and I definitely used the wrong ones. Fresno to be exact.
Thanks for sharing your recipes with us.

@Mark Richardson they will be fine but do be aware that they can be super hot! Thank so much for joining the app too.

Thanks all for answering. Unfortunately I don't have access to finger chillies. I do have access to Thai chillies, so that'll have to do in the future.

I use the Indian finger chillies, not always easy to find, especially now I've moved away from the Asian Exotic Superstore, so I'm really glad I bought a very big bag of them and froze them in double zip lock bags. Easy!👏💕

Ah, for any Dutchies out there: we know Thai chillies by their Indonesian name: ‘rawit’. They’re the kind I usually use.

Hi @Mark Richardson great to hear from you. Super pleased the Malabar dish was a winner - I have to say it’s one on my favs too.
The chillies used in Indian food are known as rocket chillies or finger chillies. They are long, thin and green and fairly hot. Fresno are a bit thick and fleshy as are Serrano @sgeist
The best alternative would be Thai chillies but don’t use as many as Thai chillies are hotter.

I've been wondering the same thing. I have serranos and jalapenos, but neither of those look like those small green ones Hari uses in her videos. @Hari Ghotra ?
