Beef with spinach today. Took the recipe for lamb with spinach up to and including the yoghurt. I let it simmer for 45 minutes without the spinach. Then I added the spinach and let it cook for another half an hour. Result: yum!

Especially if you can get a hold of wild spinach like this, @boo . It’s a bit ‘meatier’ than regular spinach and it works very well with meat dishes in my opinion.

Spinach is a winner with all kinds of meat. Looks very appetising!!

Looks beautiful @Arthur vdH beef is really lovely instead of lamb for a change. I’ll make a note of your timings for the pan as I’ve not tried that yet only slow cooker/pressure cooker as was not sure how to tenderise it. Thanks

My pleasure @Hari Ghotra , thank you for the recipe! To make sure I understand: do you mean I actually didn’t need the extra half hour for beef?

The timings for beef and lamb in a dish like this are fairly similar @Jo dunn @Arthur vdH - another beautiful looking dish. Thanks 🙏🏽 for sharing with us!

Thanks @Jo dunn . You needn’t worry much with this dish: the yoghurt helps tenderise the meat. Just make sure you don’t throw it straight from the fridge into the pan, but I think you already knew that, right?

Looks darkly interesting @Arthur vdH! Love spinach, so good for you too. Haven't had the courage to swap lamb for beef yet, always worried it will be tough. Yours looks mouthwateringly delish 👍💕
