Thank you Hari,I've been cooking BIR curries for a few years, I want to get away from the base curry flavour, I'm quite sure my local restaurant doesn't use it anyway. Making a Jalfrezi as we speak, I didn't have some of the ingredients for your one but will try that in a day or two.

Hi @Sean and welcome to the app. I love making the BIR style too, so quick and easy. Taking out the time to make the base sauce/gravy.
Haris food is equally as quick but with deeper tastes that are sooo different from BIR.
Enjoy the app and cook a longs - just don’t announce that you’re in the toilet if you do!!!

Every recipe I’ve tried has been beautiful as @Jo dunn says Hari is a great teacher and you will learn so much from her and the app. I hope you join in the cookalongs too they are great fun. Yes, there's BIR, (love it,) and then there's authentic, which I've come to love even more. Handed down traditional recipes from mum, gran, and in Hari's case passed on to us with love, understanding and patience. Hari is an amazing teacher, you'll learn loads! Exciting times! @Sean 💕
Thanks Joe... I've been cooking curries for a few years now mainly BIR style, would like to try some different styles without all the base gravy etc.
