Butterfly and Stiga are still present on the German table tennis market, but they are now outpaced and overrun by Contra, a German company. Stiga is Swedish. Is Butterfly British @Mark Harvey ?

The reason why you should get back to this wonderful sport @Mark Harvey! Good for your balance , reaction and fine motor skills. If not, then maybe your son ought to follow in your footsteps.

Bummer! When I think of those cups you won, you were certainly hard to beat. But now, your opponents are fish, and they are not easy at all to trick! And music is definitely a very interesting leisure and you seem to do it on a very professional level. Certainly a time and energy consuming activity!!! So, no chance of seeing you again holding a table tennis bat @Mark Harvey !

Age is not a problem @Mark Harvey ! In the club I play for, there are people 80+(!!!), who still play for fun, and in comparison you’re a young man! Table tennis is a sport where you can quickly get in again. You need just a few training sessions, and the movements will be back. I also stopped for quite a long time after my studies. Then, I came back. You don’t forget your old combinations. In a way, they are stored in your head or system, whatever. They’ll surface once you get a bat and start to hit the ball. Why don’t you start again? This could become an additional topic, when talking about jalfrezi and Rasmalai, eh?

While trying to avoid mistakes, you tend to get tense. Of course, playing just freely is much better, you are more relaxed and unconstrained! You know how it is sometimes: you don’t want to lose points! You want to win, but the opponent too! @Mark Harvey !

It was just training tonight! So, we played freely. Mistakes allowed. I tried a lot and a few shots went astray. Had also a miserable physical condition, so no concentration. You certainly know that @Mark Harvey !
