This is the Baden-Württemberg region. I don’t know it very much. I was once on a three-week seminary in Mannheim and I seize the opportunity to visit Baden Baden and two French cities, not far from the German border, Colmar and Straßburg, wonderful cities, which you certainly visited if you were in the surroundings. They have very good white wines and rosé in Baden-Württemberg if you like German wines @Mark Harvey .

I was in Freiburg last summer and I traveled over the Rhein to the French mountains and it was unbelievable.
I plan to go back at some point on a week long fishing trip 🇩🇪😍🐡

Fishing in Hampshire must be a dream @Mark Harvey !! Why don’t you save one or two of those trouts for your bouillabaisse? Or don’t lake and river fish lend themselves to bouillabaisse? I myself prefer fish from the sea for it.

the fish I catch are caught from the chalk streams in Hampshire.
they are brown and rainbow trout but they are farm reared and then stocked into the chalk streams.
I usually prepare one in the evening and freeze the rest.
it's a different world over here ☹️🐡

Beautiful @Mark Harvey! Coming from an island, I love everything, which comes from the sea! By the way, did you do the bouillabaisse with the fish you caught?
