Just now am in Hamburg buying Basmati rice for my brother, who lives in Brittany, near St-Malo. Driving down there next Sunday. French people, being not very keen on rice, it isn’t easy to find good Basmati there. In Hamburg, we have got a few very good Indian shops @Mark Harvey.

Well then, you should! Some nice Irish pubs! With good Guinness! So, you won’t miss your beer 🍻!!!!

Höheluft is a very nice corner! Are they Germans or British? After many years in Hamburg, we moved to Sprötze (Buchholz in der Nordheide), a little village about 35 kilometers from Hamburg, in Lower Saxony. But by train or car you can reach Hamburg very quickly. Hamburg is of course not London, but is definitely worth a visit @Mark Harvey! Have you ever been in Hamburg?
