Hari’s fried okra recipe of the week from last week. First time cooking okra, was not sure what it would be like but it was really nice! Loved the amchur sweetness with the spices a bit addictive. The chickpea curry with kale recipe was made with spinach and a big favourite. Thank you Hari for the recipes.

Can you grow Okra in the UK? I doubt it, it takes as long and hot a growing season as any vegetable I know. Its the seed pod of an annual hibiscus, beautiful white flowers. When it’s flowering I always sing this song😁

Oh well done! I have deep fried okra with Chat Masala (which has Amchur in it) but I didn’t get to make Hari’s recipe, but the flavors are awesome, yours looks amazing!
