Hope everyone is having a good week.
I went to kitchen equipment show last week and saw some great new gadgets. It was amazing to see all the innovation that is going on around reducing plastic with some very cool products like bamboo straws, coffee cups made out of rice husk, blenders that are controlled from your phone and so much more. It got me to thinking - if you could create a kitchen tool or gadget what would it be and why.

Ha ha @Damian Green yes a tandoor definitely love one of them. Your virtual chef idea is brilliant!

My eldest daughter @Michelle Sherman gave me some stainless steel ones for Father’s Day. They come in a nice pouch with little bottle brushes to clean them, as yours are here. So much better than ‘itchy teeth’ cardboard straws and SUP’s. 👍👍

Oh you’ve got me going now @traceyross - I’d like a tandoor oven and one of them super fierce gas burners that’s like cookin with your wok/Karahi on a jet engine.

I’d love a naan machine (like a toastie machine/waffle maker) that creates the perfect teardrop shape and naan so you don’t have to heat the oven/use the stovetop on a hot day. You could use defrosted naan dough for fresh naan.

I’d like a gadget that creates and projects a full-size hologram of @Hari Ghotra (or who ever else’s recipe your following) to cook along with.....you work along side watching how the pros prep and cook....And to give a virtual high-5 when it’s all done.

A clever gadget or 'recipe reader-tool', which COMBINED the ingredients and measurements, e.g "1 tbsp" with the method. I feel like I am always flipping back to look at the "ingredients" when I'm on the "instructions" page, or vice versa. Just wish the method said the measurements rather than constantly having to go back a page (on phone or other device - Not talking recipes in books here!)🤓
