hi @Hari Ghotra .

I'm thinking of doing some samosas for my BBQ, but would like to bake them in the oven rather than deep fry. what would be best way to do this?

Good idea @Hari Ghotra - the filo pastry! 🥐

As @Jo dunn said mine does work but the pastry isn’t light the way it is when deep fried. I have to say in the oven that filo pastry strips are better lay the filling on them and fold into triangles @Sue Geen

Maybe shallow fry @Sue Geen just to get colour then stick em in the oven!?? Or do a batch and freeze, do another batch etc until you have the 50???

wasntso much low fatness as not wanting to stand over deep frying for hours. I want to make about 50!

Well... they are best deep fried...!!! 😋😋😋 but if you need a lower fat version, try oven ones.🤞💕

Yes, I've used them both. Oven was best for large quantity. I used Hari's recipe! Yum! Wasn't sure if you liked fry light or not. But it does work really well. Good luck 😀🤗

Lots of (google) air fryer recipes and (oven recipes) for samosas, which are interchangeable with oven cooking, Sue, by spraying with oil or using fry light, instead of deep frying. @Sue Geen
