Hi everyone! Yesterday I tried to prepare a Lebanese dish, but I think it’s not so different from an Indian one! Tell me what you think! It’s called “mejadra” or “mudardara”: first you fry the onions, then you toast cumin and coriander seeds, add basmati rice, olive oil, turmeric, pimento (I’m not sure if you call it this way), cinnamon, sugar, salt, black pepper, then cooked green or brown lentils and water. When the rice and lentils are ready you put the fried onions in and it’s done! Do you know it? @Hari Ghotra, tell me if this could be an Indian dish too! Kisses 😘
