prep nearly finished for today's BBQ. samosas, mint chutney, imlee, hariyali chicken marinating. just spiced basmati rice ( a la Madhur Jaffrey) to do, and chop up some veggies.

it was great @Hari Ghotra ! all samosas gone, and all of chicken and burgers. some mackerel left, but mostly due to over catering.

yep. fry onion, add garlic and chilli and garsm masala. then add washed soaked and drained basmati rice.. add water (1 pint water to 3/4;pint rice). cook for 25 mins on v low.
