Chicken Tikka Masala crackdown: trying to recreate my fav restaurants dish. so far. here it is:

meat prep: 1/2 chicken cubed bitsize
1/2 red bell pepper
1/2 green bell pepper in bitsize chunks
marinate in 1/2 teasp beetroot powder for about 1 hour. when done poach in 1/2 stick butter.add to sauce.

spice mix:
2 teasp shahi jeera ( cumin)
3 teasp sweet paprika powder
3/4 teasp cayenne pepper powder
1/2 teasp turmeric powder
1.5 teasp kashmiri chili powder
3/4 teasp sslt
1.5 teasp sugar
-------blend together--

1 cup tomato sauce
1 handfull cilantro
1/2 sm purple onion roughly chopped
2 large garlic gloves smashed
--------blend together till sauce-----

add spice mix into ssuce heat in wok. add butter poached chicken incl buttersauce it was poached in. simmer about 10 minutes till nice combined.
add around a 3 cm piece of ground cinnsmon bark to everything. turn off heat. add sbout 1/2 to 1 cup of heavy cream.

serve w garlic naan or rice.

@Mark Harvey here is the recipe. try it. its really nice. you can also use lamb instead of chix. dont be skimpish w cillantro. it reslly needs it. and the bell peppers go in the sauce too( uups) i forgot!
