Experimental day today: pressure cooker beef stew in a masala made with ghee, cloves, cardamom, cumin, fennel, bay leaves, cassia bark, onions, tomatoes, ginger, garlic, green chilli, curcuma, Kashmiri chilli powder and salt. Cooked for 45min, then added carrots and potatoes.
Yummy!

Interesting guys, where I live they also call turmeric - curcuma.
Where are you situated then @Arthur vdH ?
Looks amazing - like a gourmet plating with broth around the main components - impressive!
Great for the sniffles, then 🤧💕 @Arthur vdH
You’re right @Jo dunn , it’s turmeric. I usually remember to translate :-) Healing? Yeah, probably. It’s certainly warming and comforting!
Looks SO good @Arthur vdH . I take it curcuma is what we call turmeric in UK? Great dish. Have the feeling it would be healing too. 💕
