Hi all, I’m new to the group but an avid curry cook!
I’ve been looking at all the videos and recipes on offer and are undecided to first try either the Lamb Madras or the Thari Walee Lamb or the Mutton Rara. Anybody cooked these before and suggest which to try first?

Sounds good @Damian Green 👍🏻. The Laal Maas sounds good, I think I’ve heard of it before but it’s been called jungly maas... thinks it’s what the hunters used to cook in the old days in India whilst out hunting.

@Richard.D you could always do the madras using Shanks!?? Just cook em longer until they’re nearly falling off the bone... That’s the beauty of all this 🤗🤗🤗

At the minute it’s Hari’s Laal Maas. Mostly just Lamb, loads of Kashmiri chilliest, (which a beautiful smokey chillies - not that hot), and ghee. It sound a little boring but it is just awesome. I add a few garlic cloves and I use a cup of homemade chicken stock too. 2nd place is Lamb Sooka masala lamb and then Monkfish curry 3rd, possibly lamb Karahi and madras joint forth. There’s a few chicken ones after that... but these things change every time I make something new. Welcome to the club by the way. 🌶👌🌶👌

Hi guys, welcome to you all. Just a tip to let people know you are replying to them... put '@' in front of their name, no spaces, click on the correct name from the drop down list and it will come up in bold and more importantly, it will notify them e.g. @Bill

Thari Wala Chicken is a family favourite. Even my 10 yr old daughter requests it. Beautifully aromatic.
