must make sure lids are hot tho @Bill , otherwise you risk mould.

Yeah @Sue Geen , I‘ve heard that before Lids on and then let them cool down forming a vacuum.
But you’re right the first glass is almost finished.😋😋😉

looks wonderful @Bill . one hint (learned from jam making) is to warm both jars and lids in oven before potting. put lids on jars as soon as you pot, and as the chutney cools a vacuum will form, helping the contents to last even longer! although if you consume it at the rate @Jo dunn and hubby do that's not really a problem 🤣🤣🤣🤣
