Another attempt at a Chicken Patia, restaurant style, a particular favorite of mine. Not a Hari recipe, but I took a recipe and Harified it based on what I have learned and it turned out pretty well! So thanks to @Hari Ghotra for all she has taught me, long may it continue!

Thanks @traceyross - I love the balance of hot sweet and sour in a good dhansak. @Jo dunn, I’ve made Hari’s Patia as well and really enjoyed it! Yours looks delicious!

Looks nice @Andrew Cockburn, well done. Personally I really do prefer Hari's recipe for Chicken Pathia. Hers is so unique with the vinegar and jaggery. But I know what it's like to have a craving for a well loved dish 😂🤣😂🤣
I've been trying for years to recreate the Chicken Dhansak (brown colour) of the old curry restaurants, not the red tomato-ey sugar-ey one that they dish out nowadays👎 . Hari's recipe comes close tho👍

Looks really tasty @Andrew Cockburn. I’ve not tried a patia dish.
