Went to the produce hall in Stockport Market on Thursday. Had tiffin from Chaat Cart. So good that I was inspired and tonight made Chicken Chaat, Vegetable pakora, and poori. Superb Hari great recipes.

Not really Jo. 4oz white flour,4oz sieved whole meal flour.2 TBSpoons veg oil,100ml water. Knead 10mins.leave in oiled plastic bag. Knead again divide into 12. Flatten and roll out thinly. Hot oil, deep fry singly when they begin to puff up flip over till golden brown. Drain. Eat.

Sorry Jo. I should have done but needed the poori to be fresh and we scoffed the lot.
I'll remember next time. Been out of the loop for a while due to a health matter. Can't wait to get back in the kitchen. Thanks for your post.
