Just wondering if anyone can help please. I’ve just bought curry leaves from my local Indian shop and noticed white things on the leaves. Has anyone ever had this before? I wondered if I cut off the infected leaves and washed the rest of it was okay to use. I’ve just never seen this before on any veg. Many thanks

Yes the vinegar trick is the best indeed @traceyross
But they were definitely seeds. You were right to get rid of them though - you never know what might be lurking around these days. I have just lost two very big palm trees to moths that come from Argentina and whose caterpillars are destroying palm trees all over Southern Europe ☹️

I was just about to say use vinegar @traceyross - but you are on it!

Hi @susan_martin4 thanks yes I think so too. I got rid of the infected leaves and left the rest soaking in water with vinegar and hope that does the trick.

Looks like either seeds or eggs. I’m guessing that something has laid eggs on them.
