Hello all 👋🏽
Could anyone give me Indian recipes for broad beans please? Ours are now ready on our veg farm, and hub has just told me he’d love me to try an Indian recipe with them for a change 🤗

How could you @Arthur vdH. How could you not.
🙃
Sorry, I didn’t think I needed to mention the wine @n.naisbiso 😉🍷
Hahahaheeeeee @Mark Harvey and @Hari Ghotra 🥂
crikey don't forget the wine @n.naisbiso that would be a disaster 🍷🤦♂️
😆 Like your thinking @n.naisbiso
Oh and wine. Wine too 🍷
Oh fabby @Hari Ghotra 😃
Will have a look on Monday after the frenzy of weekend markets is over. We are positively craving for a lush Indian meal - it’s been too long 🤤
I keep telling my worried customers to stop panicking and just consume more spices, veg, herbs and herbal teas; so good for the immune system 😷
I love broad beans @n.naisbiso I have a Indian summer greens recipe you could try. Also try the falia Di sabji with the beans too.
Thanks ever so much @Arthur vdH really good idea too 😃
Sure @Mark Harvey , but I’m sure I’m not the only one here who can improvise on a recipe.
I knew I should have tagged you @Arthur vdH this is definitely your territory 🤗🌶
You could also try Cumin fried Carrot and Pea Curry. Substitute the peas for broad beans. You don’t even have to cook the beans if they’re really young and fresh. Just mix them in at the end.
Another option: pudina lamb cutlets and then the broad beans with fried strips of bacon and onions. Do the bacon first, soften the onions in the rendered fat and toss in the beans at the end 😋
no problem 🤗
Have just 👀 recipe @Mark Harvey and I reckon it just might work! With less cooking time for the beans, as you say. Thanks again 🙏🏽
Ooooh thank you @Mark Harvey - will take a look at it now!
taking a bit of a flyer here but maybe the raajma recipe would work. you'd have to change the way the broad beans were cooked though compared to the red kidney beans. maybe steam them and just follow the raajma recipe. never done it so a trifle speculative @n.naisbiso
