I broil them until they get the char then finish in oven

I really did @Hari Ghotra! Hubby and I both devoured them in minutes! Yesterday we tried them in the oven instead and they were dry good too but slightly prefer the BBQ for the crispness. @Steve Beck those look really good - great colour and good idea to make the masala, I really enjoy the flavour combination too.
