Please can I ask how you cook with Aesifateda? Can't seem to use it without the really pungent smell.

Hi @Gill Rawlings asafoetida is very pungent when you first fry it but that pungency does subside as the dish is cooked. You usually add it to oil at the start of the dish to add a base flavour. What did are you trying to cook and I can advise? If you look at my rogan josh recipe that will also help. Hari
