Happy Sunday - I hope you have had a great weekend.
I have been adding a few new recipes to the website and they are not my usual Indian style but I didn’t want to lose some of the dishes I have created from my kitchen travels through this lock down period.
They are the types of dishes I cook at home, influences from Asia, Africa all using great spices and aromatics. So far I have added Pork Rendang curry, Jamaican Patties, Tom Khaa soup, Lamb Tagine and I have a few more coming.
Please keep your suggestions coming of dishes you think I should try and I will see what I can do.
I really hope you like these recipes.
What is the curry in the picture it looks amazing
A good curry goat recipe would be great
That sounds great, I’ll take a look.
😂 @strangekar
added abit of salt and a splash of water. You are sooo right. Hubby thinks he's Gorden Ramsey... closest he'll ever epitomise him is his language 😁🤣
Ok did you add water to the onions? It should work really well in a skillet @strangekar I’m sure the over the shoulder directing had something to do with it 😂 that’s not helpful!
I was using a skillet and it was your recipe however hubby likes the depth of flavour caramelised onions gives. He sits on my shoulder directing me 🤬 I'll be so glad when he's back at work 😁
Rendang and Tom Kha...yum!!
Hi @strangekar - was it my recipe? I don’t tend to brown the onions for that dish. What pan were you using?
I have one on for Laal maas - just 4 ingredients @Jess H
Rendang! 😍🤤 Will be looking out for that! I have been looking for a good recipe for Junglee Maas.
just made a jalfrazi... could I hell as like get the onions to brown. An hour and 10 minutes later I gave up browning and continued with the recipe 🤔
