Hi guys I know I’m a day late with the details - sorry. It’s #Fridaycurryclub tomorrow so I thought we could make some keema. It’s a minced lamb dish that’s is super versatile. You can have it with roti, stuff it into dough to make bread rolls, into naan dough to make keema naan or put it in a pie to make my version of a shepherds pie. You can use lentils instead of the meat or use Quorn instead.
Just come to my YouTube at 6.15 BST tomorrow (use this link to set a reminder) https://youtu.be/0Qy7NuWDVRs and join us to try this amazing dish.
This is what you will need to cook along.
I will get dough ready to show you how to make keema stuffed bread rolls too.
Will you be joining me? 👍🏽

Thank you for join in last. Ugh this - your dishes look delicious @Robert Tedford @blazquez22
Cooking with you tonight! Can’t message on ‘you tube’ for some reason! 👍
Hi Hari I will be cooking along tonight and just seen that I can use red lentils. Not a fan of mince! How many do you suggest, 200/250 gms?
Hope everything is okay 😊
Thank you @Hari Ghotra that’s great. I’ll use red lentils.
@traceyross red lentils would be the quickest. Brown or toor would need to be cooked first but would work too
I cooked this last Sunday and added my fresh fenugreek and it was delicious
👍🏻
Yum!Looking forward to this!!
@Hari Ghotra I don’t have ground meat but have red lentils, moong or toor dal. Is one better than the other to use? Many thanks.
Hi Hari, I will be cooking with you tomorrow. I really enjoy our Friday Curry Club cook alongs. See you tomorrow 👍🍸🙂
good re plain flour @Hari Ghotra I have more of that than strong white!
@Sue Geen @jenny52 minced yes turkey is fine!
Our family favorite for a quick comfort food.
@kurry Kim fancy this again?
@Hari Ghotra I have turkey mince too the same as @Sue Geen (great minds think alike Sue). Will the spice selection match as well with turkey as with the lamb or will it need a tweak?
Hi, Hari and everybody!!
I will buy the lamb, peas and mushrooms and ready to cook tomorrow. 👨🍳
