Hari, it didn’t survive being turned in the batter even though i was really gentle. I will pour the batter over it next time. I can fry it for matar paneer but as I said the fat content isn’t there. I will try your recipe out .it did have all the flavours thanks. I used tamari which isn’t so salty so I would add more next time to get the balance.

Thanks. I have never cooked the Thari wali but i’ve seen a lot of posts so thought i’d give it a try. Well worth it, simple to make but fantastic in it’s simplicity.
