Can anyone guess what this is? It is fresh out of our garden and is a prime ingredient in Hari's recipes. It has to be cured in the oven and kept in the dark for 2 months before we can start using it.

yeaaahhđź‘Ťđź‘Ťyes from the garden. A little something the husband started 3 years ago after having read the origin of safron and how it was cultivated so he thought he'd give it a go. he got the bulbs from somewhere in the Charente here in France.
