With lockdown it feels a bit like there are no rules when it comes to weekday and weekend food at the moment. This was last nights dinner - salt & chilli ribs and buffalo wings - this would usually be Friday or Saturday night dinner but we had it on a Monday! Anyone else feeling the same?

@helenbas3 it’s very similar to my Szechuan ribs https://www.harighotra.co.uk/szechuan-salt-and-pepper-ribs-recipe
but I coated in 5 spice & chilli powder and rather then deep frying I baked them in the oven at 140c for 40mins then followed the recipe with garlic, spring onions, chilli and salt. Also look at my highlights on my Instagram page
where do I find the chilli ribs recipe? I also LOVE ribs!
that looks so good♥️♥️♥️😁😁
@Hari Ghotra Great, would love to learn how to cook those two dishes!
@daren.lowry I do I’ll have to dig them out!
Looks lovely Hari. I don’t blame you. Comfort food is big highlight right now.
They look great. Do you have any recipes for Chatpata Wings or Chicken 65?
Well good food is comforting and can also be linked to family that and a good sense of humour will always get ud through any bad times.
@Steviewilcox love a bit of curry on toast yum 😋
Absolutely! Evening meals become the highlight of the day. Although with some leftover curry from last night my "curry-on-toast" was the highlight this morning! 😎
@Arthur vdH 😂
Yeah, I’ve had this “how can one have weekend rules when one cannot tell week days from weekends”-vibe for months. But I’ve recently switched from “every day is a weekend day” to “every day is a week day”. I was tired of sewing my shirt buttons back on 😉
@Robert Tedford 😆 good to know it’s not just me then!
We had Murgh Makhani last night! Delicious! Normally for us that would be a Friday or Saturday meal. 👍
