Question-- what is the difference between "Palak" and "Saag"?

@Hari Ghotra Thats interesting. We have cima di rape here which translates as turnip tops but you can’t get turnips here. I love them, they are leafy greens and a little bitter. When I was young, my mum bought brussel tops which were also bitter and I loved those too.

I have had and love them both but thought they were both just Spinach & couldn't figure out the difference. I asked my Indian Son-in-law & he said..."I don't know, but they're both yummy!" 🤣

Yes pretty much but palak is baby spinach and saag is older spinach leaves or other greens usually mustard greens but can be collard or broccoli greens etc. The terms get mixed up a lot.

I think that palak is spinach and saag is any leafy green veg. ?
