Hi! Is anybody using red rice ? I tried just once, probably the procedure was not good..it looked terrible. Any hint how it is made properly ?

@Ildikó Szücs I hope it tastes better the next time. 🙂 Keep in mind, red rice - like brown and black - is still high in carbohydrates (~50g in a cup of cooked red rice). Although it will take longer to digest than white, those with diabetes still need to moderate the overall intake.

Since red rice is not hulled, you would make it like brown rice. If cooked like white rice, the brown/red/black rice will be hard and unpleasant to eat.
