Got my book for my birthday since I’ve been banned from buying any more cooking books- boo!- cooking mughlai gosht low and slow all day today, been marinating since Tue evening. Seriously looking forward to the smell and getting them Roti breads dunked in when I get home from work 😋

...and thanks yeah we’ve nailed the Roti creation to a fine art. I still get a thrill seeing them puff up esp when we do em on the bbq. I’ve noticed tho, it’s definitely worth buying the better quality Atta flour.

When ever you slow cook it’s always great to use meat on the bone @Damian Green - better flavour in the sauce and the meat just melts. Glad you enjoyed your first dish from the cookbook!

It went down very well Hari...I think I’ll use Lamb or Mutton ‘on the bone’ (as the recipe suggests) next time as I think that would have made it better with the marrow melting into the pot too. Looking forward to trying out your other recipes from the book Hari xx

It’s bubbling gentility right now (teasing me) for another 30mins before the yogurt goes in. Gonna get on with the Rotis - Sues even made a Daal on the sly!!?? She’s getting good at this ‘taking over’ business ☺️
