You should have seen my sooka moong dhal close up last week , my partner and I are still giggling. It was like bird food, I did a great impression of one pecking at it. It went in the compost bin i’m afraid, inedible! 🐔🦆

@Ian Thompson It’s persimmon Ian. It grows here in Italy , looks beautiful on bare trees but no-one I know really likes them so I get to pick them off friends trees. They are nice stewed with an apple it makes a kind of sauce which is nice with pork or whatever you fancy. I made a cake last year but you couldn’t tell it was persimmon. That’s the beauty of cooking new things I guess!

@elisabethjohl you need to dip the paneer in to just coat it before frying

@Hari Ghotra i loved them, they wher delishous. 😍❤️
I used all the ingredients from the recepice, or it was too much of joghurt or maybe the batter yes. Once they marinated must i use only paneer without the marinade? I thook paneer and maeinade and all i put into the batter, maybe too much. 😁 But as i said no one was left 😍

@elisabethjohl hey, you had a go and were brave enough to show us the result. They look good enough to eat 😋 My cooking disaster was my first time samosas which fell apart during frying. I'm working up the courage to try again and post a pic on here whatever they look like 🤗

@Ian Thompson go on Internet typing in the name I gave you, perhaps it's called differently in UK😊
