Trapped in a fully furnished rental while our new house is built, without even basic necessities such as a spice grinder or blender, my own cookware trapped in storage and unattainable, I thought my fate was to go a whole year without Indian food ... however, a few weeks ago I snapped and splurged on everything I needed to make curries again ... here are the initial fruits of my new labors - a delicious Chicken Dopiaza, it feels so good to be making Indian food again!

@Sue Geen Hi! Yes we were and yes we did! We got sick of the snow and decided to start fresh where it was warmer, we moved down here (Fort Myers) in October and are looking forward to moving into our new house later this year. Of course I put in as many kitchen upgrades as I could, all the better for curry making!

There are just some things you can’t go without in life and a regular curry is one of those. Curries are addictive. Looks great! Welcome back to the fold🥳

@Hari Ghotra I wish! But we are in Florida - great weather but few curries ...

Looks wonderful @Andrew Cockburn I hope the build is going well. Must be super busy. You know my frozen sauces might be just what you need at this tricky time if you are in the UK!
