@Sue Geen my husband hates sour dough. Yeah, it tasted tart like yoghurt. It tasted like when you use yoghurt. Thank you for the tips and help, very much appreciated xxx

@Rooroo interesting. so you'll have got the slightly sour taste as with yoghurt, and the help with rising. another thought is that you could use some sour dough starter if you have any/or can be bothered to make one!

I'm guessing from your post you're veggie/vegan?
