How is everyone doing today? I know it's Monday which can be tough but did you know it's the start of British Pie Week!!
Well I LOVE a good pie so I thought it would be fun to see what your favourite pies are, whether it's an everyday pie, a regional dish, a secret family recipe or something a bit weird and wacky i'd love to hear about it. Share a pic, a recipe, or just tell me about it - I might even give a few of them a go. Well here is my hot and spicy Balti pie - have you tried this yet?

I am the "pie lady" at our local markets and people love this pie! I have also made hari's slow cooked lamb with lemon into a pie and it was also a great hit.

@Hari Ghotra Sounds good to me, but my wife just about let's me get away with cooking Indian food on a Friday night. Cooking it for Sunday lunch might be pushing it. Although I did get away with doing your Keema Pie once!

@elisabethjohl good plan!! Oat milk and vegan cheese. Also, could do a savoury mince pie using quorn or steak and ale again using quorn. I’m still getting used to changing up recipes. I would have to do a meat one for the hubster. Could also do this one but using my favourite, chickpeas and veg. The possibilities are endless!! Xxx

@Rooroo meatless Pies are still ok. Me too i put in moore Vegtables than meat. I invent with what i have in fridge. Put some Chees in and made a 'sauce?' with eggs and milk and herbs and spices, cover and ciik

@daren.lowry looks amazing!! It looks rustic! I love making pastry, it’s the bread crumbing bit that I find so relaxing. Xxx

Here in Italy we have two for Easter, one with eggs, frist salt cheese(someting like paneer) and homemade Soppresata (Like Salami)
And the other one is with wild Herbes and Endivia.
