Sunday lunch. Asked my friends what type of curry they would like; tomatoey/ oniony or lots of pepper and spices or a creamy dish. They chose a creamy one so it was old skool. Chicken tikka masala with a few green chillies chucked in, masoor dal, and current favourite of mine cabbage and carrot thoran with urid dal , chana dal mustard seeds and curry leaves with plain basmati. Lots of wine, laughs and the worlds pandemic banned for the day, just what we needed.
