I think it overcooked. I might try steaming g it next time.

Hi @Sue Geen they just needed to be cooked for longer also aim to get young ones big old ones can be tough! I love karela but always have them with dhal and roti!

@Hari Ghotra it was good, but was a bit tough. would like to try it in a 'stewy' type recipe I think. A Sikh friend recommended it to me - took me ages to find some, do when I happened upon it that was it - had to do it!
