Hi! I hope Xacuti Chicken is supposed to look like that. It smells lovely. Only could get dried coconut. Lots of questions. Greetings from Hamburg

@Hari Ghotra Thank you, Hari. Since the dried coconut soaked up all the water and tamarind, I had to add loads of water. Might have overdone it, but at least it did not burn😊. With the fresh coriander and red chillies it reminded me of my holiday in Thailand. Would you rather have it with bread than rice?

It’s usually a little drier but if you like the sauce then it’s all good!

@Johanna according to Hari's Web site this is a dish from southern India - hence the coconut 🥥 😁 but possibility with a Portuguese influence.
I've never heard of pandam leaf, or knowing tasted it, but I'm always keen to try new flavours so thank you for recommending it. 😁👍

@Gordon Moore Hi. I served it with Basmati Rice flavoured with a Pandam leaf. It was lovely. Is it a Thai dish originally? Reminded me of Thai cuisine. I did not add that much nutmeg. I am too afraid of that spice and it's sideeffects. I highly recommend trying this dish though!
