Hi there people. I am trying an experiment. I have marinated some beef in vinegar, chilli and garlic and then freezing it raw. Has anyone else tried this? If so how did it turn out?

Thanks! I don't plan to freeze it too long just a week at maximum. I will let you know it turns out with photos on the day! I am looking to do a beef vindaloo with some red wine and the same wine 🍷 to drink wkth it!

Hi @Steviewilcox the problem with marinating and then freezing is that it can break down the meat fibres so sometimes it can go mushy once defrosted and cooked. Does depend on how long it’s frozen for though. Hope that helps.

Never tried that Steve, but I have marinated beef, slow cooked until tender then add to curries pre cooked also good to freeze
