Made some of @Hari Saag Aloo and added cauliflower to complement a tasteful Paneer Butter Masala that I looked up on internet.
Made my own paneer of course. Good girl 😂.

You've changed my entire world of food @Hari Ghotra.

@CamillaJohanna I saw the vibrancy of the colours of your meals. Definitely want to attempt home made paneer with the butter masala. How about the butter paneer masala with some beautiful salmon or grilled prawns on the side with a naan to soak up the goodness?

@Mark Choice Here in Sweden, up north from where I come, we make paneer for Christmas 🎄and other important occasions. I guess it's a tradition from way back when people didn't have electricity or gas and there was fridge. They ate something sweet and fresh to complement all the other salted and smoked food during wintertime.
I'm used to make paneer but not to use it like this in hot dishes. I love it 😀

love that you added cauliflower to your Saag Aloo 👍 I must try that 😊 I tried Paneer for the first time a few weeks ago 😜 despite it being Hari's recipe I'm not a fan 😫 it's the texture that I didn't like. Mrs M loved it and wants me to do it again 🤔

@CamillaJohanna I agree with you 100%. The protein, prepared in most of our Indian restaurants are inconsistent and like you say often preboiled. On 2 separate occasions last week I prepared deboned led of lamb and deboned pork neck. I used Hari’s recipes and braised the protein in fresh garlic, ginger and salt for about 50 min and then added the soft, sumptuous meat to the masala. It lifted the flavour profile of the entire dish. Never stop discovering new recipes and tastes on your foodie journey. Well done on your home made paneer. Was it good?

@Mark Choice I can order when I'm tired and want to try something new from the menu. But to get the food ready quickly I know they take shortcuts for e.g. with preboiled protein. The flavors just coating the meat. And they use a lot more sugar than me at home.
Cooking indian food on my own is like a whole new world 🌎

Well done Camilla. I love potato dishes and Paneer Butter Masala, wow! I don’t want to order from my local Indian restaurant anymore.
