Hey guys if you fancy making your own crusty rolls tomorrow for #fridaycurryclub here’s a quick recipe! Ingredients 355ml warm water 7g active dry yeast 25g sugar 20g vegetable oil 1 tsp salt 435g flour 30g unsalted butter, melted salt 1. In a stand mixer add the warm water, yeast and sugar and let sit for 10 minutes until cloudy. 2. Attach the dough hook and add the oil, salt and half the flour start to mix and let the dough combine on medium speed. 3. Add the remaining flour in small amounts until it starts to come together, turn up the speed and let it knead for 3-5 minutes. 4. Oil a bowl and put the dough in. Coat it with a little oil add cover with a damp tea towel. Leave it to rise in a warm place until it doubles in size (an hour). 5. Divide the dough into 16 balls (8 for larger rolls). Put them on a greased baking sheet and leave to rise for about 30 minutes. 6. Brush the rolls with melted butter and sprinkle with some salt flakes. Baking at 200C for 18-20 minutes. 7. Spray the dough with cold water halfway through the baking process to make the bread crusty.
