@harighotra It is such a wonderful social event, having friends over and making pizza together. We used a large clay tile with semolina flour as well. I’m on the hunt for a drop dead gorgeous pizza base recipe. One that is soft and puffy not thin and crispy.

@Gordon Moore I have tried a few things to prevent this: make the pizza on the counter and use the paddle only for transfer, more cornmeal, less topping. All were fails. I have given up on the paddle and use a metal pizza pan with holes in the bottom and I put that on the heated stone.

@Gordon Moore i have had the same experience with the paddle. Even with a lot of corn meal underneath the pizza it sticks.

Fantastic 👍 a real wood fired pizza oven. I bought a pizza stone to use with my kettle BBQ and some wood chips. Have tried to cook Lebanese Flatbreads a couple of times. My biggest problem was getting the pizza cleanly off the paddle and onto the stone. It has a habit of sticking and rolls into one big gooey ball 😪
