Wednesday means it’s time to plan for #fridaycurryclub and we are going old school!! Punjabi kharee or Khadee is a unique bright yellow home made yoghurt curry that you won’t find in any restaurant. It’s flavoured with delicious fenugreek leaves and to top it off you add onion pakora to the curry! It is simply spectacular so join me on YouTube this Friday at 6.15BST. We will be making the pakora (make lots extra to snack on) and the curry! This is what you need: For the Kharee 250-300g whole Greek yoghurt 100g gram flour 4 cloves garlic 5cm piece of ginger, roughly chopped 1 green chilli 1 tsp salt 2 handfuls of fresh fenugreek or 2 tbsp dried fenugreek 10 vegetable pakora (or chucks of boiled potatoes) 2 tsp garam masala Handful of fresh coriander, chopped Garnish 2 tsp oil 2 dried chillies 1 tsp cumin seeds tsp fenugreek seeds ½ onion, sliced Pakora 100g gram flour 2 onions 1tsp salt 2tsp garam masala 2 green chillies 1tbsp ginger Coriander 1tsp cumin seeds 1/2 tsp chilli powder Water Oil to deep fry / you can bake Are you joining me?
