As is the case every Friday, I thoroughly enjoyed cooking along with Hari last night. However, this time I made several mistakes, of which I'm aware, spoiled the result of my dish. Mistake number one was that I pre made the mixture for my pakoras the day before and kept it in the refrigerator until the following day. The mixture became too soggy and after frying, the pakoras were not crispy. I also over spiced the mixture. The kharee was almost perfect although I think the consistency was a little too thick. I was unable to get to the shop to buy fresh fenugreek leaves so used dried instead, which I don't think was so good. I hurried the garnish and the spices began to burn before the onions were fried enough. So, a bit of a disaster for me really but I'm determined to have another go as I know this is quite a special dish.
